Softvoyage launches SAX

SAX (Short form for “Softvoyage API XML”) has brought Softvoyage’s already solid web applications to a whole new level. Steve Ringuet, CEO explains “until SAX was completed, we offered great technology to our customers. SAX brings us to a whole new dimension as far as speed and reliability is concerned. I am confident that its introduction will revolutionize how leisure and air travel is distributed in Canada today. It is simply easier to book travel via SAX than any other method offered in this country or in North America for that matter.”

SAX helps retails Travel Agencies generate additional revenue and save money by making the shopping process for packages or airfares simple. One click brings the results from all major ITC Operators or various airlines. Another click and you browse pictures and descriptions, and a last click and the transaction is executed. It is that simple!

With an incredible number of bookings being made on the web everyday and growing at a very fast pace, Travel Agencies must continue to fine tune their operations and marketing to include a web presence. SAX is the perfect solution.

SAX also helps wholesalers and tour packagers by decreasing their distribution costs. Traditional distribution methods are a lot more expensive than Softvoyage options. It can decrease Tour Operators cost by as much as 75% per passenger.

SAX has propelled Softvoyage as well as its current and future customers into “Space Age” with the very best possible technology for booking travel today. Softvoyage customers using SAX will have a distinctive competitive advantage over their competitors in the online booking market.

Dan Langevin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing adds, “Despite 100% of our customers being in the travel business, none of them operate the same way. SAX allows us to easily make changes to the application to suit our customers’ needs. It is very impressive how robust SAX is and what it will do for online bookings in Canada and probably, North America. As well, SAX allows us to connect to many third party technology and allows for flawless execution.”
